Here are the elusive Malibu 7 Canyon Classic T-shirts. Design #1 is the event shirt that all participants will receive. Design #2 has no sponsor logos just the event logo they are for sale by request. Design #2 is available in the colors shown below. As well there is the hoodie sweatshirt with Design #2 which comes in the colors shown below.

Hey everybody, there will be a group training ride this Saturday(3/15) for all who are interested. We will be riding sections of the Malibu 7 Canyon Classic and I will be providing SAG support, water and some Gel/nutrition. The ride will begin @ 8:30am @ Zuma beach tower 14 in Malibu. I am really excited to announce that Robin Farina and some of her pro cycling buddies will be participating in the Malibu 7 Canyon Classic. This is In addition to the amazing female talent that is already set to ride, like the B4T9 ladies, Helen's cycles womens road team and Vanderkitten VIP riders. Come on ladies we need you and your teams/clubs to represent and make this event even better. Right now we have 173 women and 197 men signed up. So I am going to extend the "women1" discount until it is even! Sorry guys but you no how it is "ladies first"!!

Here are a few exciting updates for the Malibu 7 Canyon Classic:

1) It is my honor to announce that Ride 2 Recovery will be there defending their 100-Mi title. As well, a large group of Wounded Warriors will be there showing us all what tough really means.
2) Nelson Vails -- The Cheetah-- is scheduled to join us!
3) Helen's Cycles/Team Helen's women's road team will be joining us with a group of strong ladies.
4) Hyper Cat Racing will be present in the Start/Finish area providing expert mechanical support and more!
5) Franco Bicycles will be there showing off their incredibly beautiful custom bikes!! OH Yeah!
6) Win Allen of Win's Wheels will be providing a free bike safety check for all participants. From 3/10 to 3/14 at his shop. (the check is free but any fixes will be charged)
7) Fluid will be providing their amazing products for all our hydration needs.
8) Rock Chef Rolls is going to spread out in the Start area and provide mouth watering Gourmet food for all the Participants.
9) Synergy Timing will be providing the timing service.

There is much more really exciting stuff that I am working on. I will post updates as soon as it is solid.

What kind of stuff do you like at an aid station? What food, drinks, treats, gel etc.. I want to hook it up right this year at the Malibu 7 Canyon!

The Malibu 7 Canyon Classic needs volunteers! Volunteers are the foundation of any good event and the only way events like this can function are through the generosity of others. We need volunteers to staff the aid stations, start/finish area, KOM points, intersections and lead vehicles. What I can offer in return is: a free event T-shirt, food voucher to the event food services, all you can eat and drink from aid stations and a ride free voucher. The ride free voucher can be used at the next event or can be transferred to someone riding this year. For instance; a volunteer this year would be given a free entry voucher, at the the end of the day. That voucher could then be used by a participant, of this years event, to receive a full refund or it can be used the following year. If you are interested please contact me anytime.
