She was a school teacher for sixteen years for the Des Moines School District before meeting Jamie while on vacation. She relocated to Maui nearly 10 years ago. Once she arrived on the island, she experienced the love and excitement in all of the weddings that Jamie sang for. She felt that being a wedding planner might be just what she was truly destined to become. She is a natural at making wedding dreams come true.
