🎂🎁 BIRTHDAY IN A BOX: BIG LOVE FOR LITTLE BIRTHDAYS! 💛

Every child deserves to feel celebrated, and at A & Y Birthday Blessings, we’re helping make birthdays a little more magical! ✨

Our Birthday in a Box program provides eligible children with a thoughtfully prepared, themed birthday celebration designed around their unique likes and interests. Because every child deserves to feel special on their big day! 🎉

🎁 WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A BIRTHDAY BOX?

Each box may include:
🧁 Cake mix and frosting
🍽️ Plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and a tablecloth
🎈 Birthday decorations
📚 Two or three age-appropriate books
🎁 Age-appropriate gifts selected with the child’s interests in mind
💌 A birthday card with a heartfelt message for the birthday child and family

We coordinate the theme as much as possible to reflect each child’s interests, making their celebration feel personal and special. And because literacy is woven throughout our programs, books are an important part of every box! 📚💛

🚗 DELIVERED WITH LOVE!

We deliver birthday boxes directly to families’ doorsteps to help ease the burden of transportation and make receiving their celebration a little easier.

📍 WHO CAN APPLY?

* Children ages 3–12
* Families residing in Kent, New Castle, or Sussex County, Delaware

📝 HOW TO APPLY

2. Click the Birthday in a Box – Apply link.
3. Complete the application, sharing your child’s likes, interests, and other requested information.

📅 WHEN SHOULD YOU APPLY?

Please submit your application by the 1st of the month before your child’s birthday. This advance notice gives our team time to prepare for upcoming celebrations.

For example, a child with a December birthday should have their application submitted by November 1.

💐❤️ GIVING MY TEAM THEIR FLOWERS WHILE THEY CAN STILL SMELL THEM! ❤️💐

Listen… I have to take a moment to show some love to my TEAM! 🥹❤️

Today, we had our Read & Celebrate Storytime at the Dover Public Library from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and although I couldn’t be there to lead the session myself, my team SHOWED UP and SHOWED OUT! 🙌🏽❤️

Yvette stepped up as co-host, and Aniyah stepped up to introduce our program and help bring everything together. From what I could see, everything flowed beautifully! The setup looked amazing, the atmosphere looked inviting, and the children appeared engaged and genuinely excited to be there. And that table setup? Listen… y’all might have done it even BETTER than I would have! 😂❤️👏🏽

Now, y’all know I had to be a little nosy! 😂😂 I was checking in, watching Aniyah go live, and catching the moments as they happened. And let me tell you, watching everything unfold made my heart smile. ❤️

But seriously, beyond what I saw on camera, what meant the most to me was knowing that my team stepped up, took ownership, and helped ensure that our children still received the experience they deserved.

THAT is what teamwork looks like. THAT is what support looks like. And THAT is what it means to believe in a mission that is bigger than any one person. ❤️

To Yvette, Aniyah, and everyone who helped make today’s session happen, THANK YOU. Thank you for showing up, for stepping into your roles, for putting your own touch on the experience, and for helping carry the vision of A & Y Birthday Blessings forward.

As a founder, there is so much that goes on behind the scenes. There are plans to make, details to coordinate, responsibilities to balance, and a million things running through your mind. And while I love what I do, moments like this remind me that I don’t have to do it all alone. I have people who are willing to step in, stand beside me, and help make the vision a reality. 🥹❤️

And I don’t take that lightly. Not one bit.

I want you all to know that I SEE YOU. I appreciate you. I value your time, your effort, your creativity, and your willingness to serve. You are appreciated for more than just what you do; you are appreciated for the heart you bring to it.

A & Y Birthday Blessings is growing, and as we continue to grow, I pray we continue to build a team that leads with love, serves with purpose, and understands that the little moments we create for our children can leave a lasting impact.

Today, I’m not just celebrating a successful Read & Celebrate Storytime. I’m celebrating the PEOPLE who helped make it happen. ❤️💐

So many of our deployed Guardsmen could use a little extra encouragement right now. ❤️🇺🇸

I’m asking everyone to spread the word and invite any community groups, organizations, and friends to participate! EVERYONE can join in! ❤️

Let’s flood our social media feeds with RED on October 26th to show our deployed service members overseas and the families holding it down at home that they are loved, supported, and never forgotten! 🔴❤️

The more RED we see, the stronger our message of support! Let’s show up for our military families! 🇺🇸❤️
