I added a couple extra 'Creamy' dahlia plants to the cutting rows this year. It was definitely a good decision.

Also, these tall upright petunias meant for cutting are so special. I only trialed a few plants this season, but they'll definitely be getting more row space next year.

Soaking in every moment of summer beauty from the garden I can. Autumn will be here before we know it.

This bounty in the garden this time of year is always so overwhelmingly beautiful.

This arrangement featured everything that was calling to me on a walk through the cutting rows this morning:

Dahlias 'My Forever', 'Ferncliff Copper' and 'BJ's Rival', 'King Size Apricot' china aster, 'Sahara' rudbeckia, Lemon basil, 'Winged Everlasting' ammobium, 'Pinky Promise' snowberry, some random snapdragons, zinnia and gomphrena.

Birthdays call for beautiful blooms.

This arrangement that went out this afternoon features the most amazing local blooms, plus some imported roses.

Spectacular scabiosa, brown lisianthus and the sweetest bronze fennel flowers all from Whipoorwill. Dahlias, strawflower, coneflower and snapdragons from my cutting garden, and imported 'Shimmer' roses.

While my full time job outside the studio + our event schedule doesn't always allow for day to day orders, I'm always happy to deliver something special for you if my schedule is open 💓

Things have been quiet on my feed - I seem to only have time to snap a quick video or pic to share in my stories this time of year!

Between the extended cold start to the growing season and then the neverending rain, plants are eager to get into the ground. It's a wonderful, chaotic season 💛

Weddings are in full swing too, and oh, it's been a beautiful season. Hope you're enjoying your spring!

It was a beautiful, flower filled week in the studio!

Designing with these tulips and ranunculus has me itching for my own garden blooms to cut. Only 26 days until spring!

In the meantime, I'm busy starting seeds, presprouting anemones + ranunculus and dividing the last of the dahlias. Garden season will be here before we know it.
