Lily's Magical Treats Started by Lily at age 7, now a mom and daughter operation! Organic cotton candy & custom lollipops

Lily was just 7 years old and in first grade when she decided she wanted to run her own business. Lily spent some time thinking up different business ideas and running them by family, friends, and teachers. One of her teachers mentioned that when she was a kid, she had had a cotton candy machine and sold cotton candy to neighborhood kids. Lily immediately loved the idea and asked her parents to he

lp her set up and run her business. While looking at some of the available premade cotton candy mixes available on the market, she was really put off when she saw the ingredient lists, so she decided we should go dye-free.

If you are looking for a unique experience this weekend, I highly recommend visiting the for Mustard Days! This awesome event takes place Saturday from 10am-4pm in downtown Middleton for full day of mustardy madness. From live music and games to mouthwatering food, kid-friendly activities, and plenty of mustard sampling, there’s something for everyone. We'll be there with some unique cotton candy flavors you can only get at this event. Not a mustard fan? Don't worry, we'll bring our regular flavors as well!

Can you believe we're almost into August already?! Summer is flying by and next thing you know it'll be time for school . Make sure to find us at all of the awesome summer events taking place this month. This weekend you can find us at Wingra Boats for the Monroe Street First Friday concert series, at the National Mustard Museum for Mustard Days on Saturday, and at the Monroe Street Farmers Market on Sunday. After that we are taking a short break so we will not be taking any orders from August 4th through the 12th. On the 16th we will have the Sun prairie Farmers Market in the morning and the Let's Glow 5K at Warner Park in the evening. On Sunday the 17th. You can find us at Warner Park again for the Magic Pride Fest. The Madison Night Market takes place on August 21st and we are really look forward to that. On August 24th. You can find us at Lake Louie Brewing for Paulpalooza, one of our favorite fundraising events of the summer. And then on Sunday, August 31st you can find us us at the Monroe Street Farmers Market again

This weekend's a busy one full of events! Friday night we'll be spinning cotton candy for Epic employees at the Epic employee family movie night. Saturday we'll be at the Butterfly Ball with freshly spun cotton candy included in the ticket price, and our cotton candy shimmer bombs featured in their specialty cocktail plus some other sweet treats for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the foundation. Sunday we'll be at for which will be an awesome event with a ton of amazing craft and food vendors!

How did Lily’s Magical Treats come to be?

Lily was just 7 year old and in first grade when she decided she wanted to start her own business. After spending some time thinking up different business ideas and running them by family, friends, and teachers, one of her teachers mentioned that when she was a kid she had had a cotton candy machine and sold cotton candy to neighborhood kids. Lily immediately loved the idea and asked her parents to help her set up and run her business. While looking at some of the available premade cotton candy mixes available on the market, she was really put off when she saw the ingredient lists. She does not like the way that some artificial colors make her feel when she eats them and she decided she wanted to make cotton candy without all of the yucky ingredients that are in so much of the cotton candy that is out there. Lily’s line of cotton candy comes in many unique and magical flavors and they are made with organic sugar and only natural colors and flavors.
