Coming to tonight's 7 p.m. concert? We sure hope so!! We also encourage you to give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes of travel time to Messiah Lutheran Church (7740 Hwy 72 West) giving you extra time to park, get settled, and prepare yourself for a wonderful and relaxed evening of great vocal music. A reception will follow the concert giving you an opportunity to chat with our featured artist, baritone Thomas Florio.

Fancy an evening with an internationally acclaimed opera singer? Here's a quick sneak peek of this Saturday's (May 10) 7 p.m. concert with baritone Thomas Florio. Florio is accompanied by Melanie Payne, MLC's multi-talented organist/accompanist. The concert will start with Finzi's "Let Us Garlands Bring" (heard in this clip), a cheerful trio by Chabrier, F***y Mendelssohn, and conclude with R. Vaughan William's "Five Mystical Songs" with vocal accompaniment by Messiah's Choir. The concert is free and the public is invited. Donations at the door greatly appreciated. NINE days until sisters Linnaea and Maeve Brophy present works by Bach, Prokofiev, Amy Beach, and H. Leslie Adams at the upcoming October 14, 7 p.m. Music at Messiah Concert. The concert is free and donations at the door are greatly appreciated.

NINE is an age when music instruments are often introduced to youngsters in educational settings. We have a bit to celebrate as a concert series! Ten years ago in 2013 our series was preparing for its very first free classical music concert for the community. Now -- just TEN days from today - we will welcome sisters Linnaea (violin) and Maeve (piano) Brophy back to Madison for their October 14, 2023, 7 p.m. concert. This will be their third concert with us and we couldn't be happier to celebrate our anniversary with them.

Change in schedule: The Valley Consort will not be performing at Messiah Lutheran Church on April 28 due to a scheduling conflict.
