That’s a wrap on Back to School 2026! 🎒✂️👟

We finally have the numbers, and what our community accomplished together is incredible.

800+ kids received FREE haircuts.
500+ kids received FREE vaccinations and shoes.
300 backpacks filled with school supplies were handed out at the event.

And another 50 backpacks were donated to BLW Community Center to reach even more kids in our community.

None of this happens without collaboration‼️❤️

A huge thank you to The Levy Giving Fund, Witkins Realty, Heart of the 608 and 93.1 JAMZ for coming together to make the backpack and school supply drive possible, and to JP Hair Designs and the entire Back to School Haircutz team for welcoming us into such an incredible community event.

We absolutely loved this collaboration and we’re already looking forward to doing it again next year.

And now we have a new goal for 2027:

Every kid who gets a haircut leaves with a backpack and school supplies too. 🎯

Next year, we’re coming for 800+. ❤️

Just a couple of professionals doing a very professional Taste of Madison promo. 😂

The Hitterz Collective is joining KingFusion’s Street Festival Tent this Saturday and Sunday with performances, breaking, line dances and plenty of good energy.

Find us on the Capitol Square at Taste of Madison on East Wash and Pinckney.

Hitterz Collective showcases:

Saturday: 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm
Sunday: 1:30 pm & 5:00 pm

Come eat, hang out and catch a vibe with us all weekend. 🔥

🎒 FREE BACKPACK GIVEAWAY THIS SUNDAY! 🎒

We’re helping Madison area kids get ready for the new school year with FREE backpacks filled with school supplies this Sunday, August 23 at the Alliant Energy Center.

The Backpack giveaway runs 12 PM to 4 PM while supplies last and is first come, first served.

We’ll be there alongside JP Hair Designs’ 18th Annual Back to School Haircutz, so families can come through, get connected with community resources, and get the kids ready for school.

Local Love Live on 08.12.26 was everything it’s supposed to be.

Great conversations. Incredible performances. Genuine connections.
