One week ago today, the Parker Crew grew!

Meet our Son, Hugh Austin Parker. At 42 weeks and 1 day, our boy finally decided to join us. It was the most stunning day. Born at home, in the water, surrounded by so much love and support. We are undone by every little detail that took place on that day.

I cannot thank my husband enough for the way this man steadied my heart every step of the way. The way that he has championed me with truth and trusted my ability to birth his children will be something rooted in my heart for the rest of my days. I wish words did justice the love and adoration that I have in my heart for this man.

Thank you to my dear, dear friend Alliyah Guyse for capturing these moments for us. Your presence, your prayers and your friendship are truly a gift, not only to me, but to my family and I truly treasure you and the fact that you were there on this day!

And to my mama, who has navigated so much grief in the past year. Thank you for always supporting me. For loving me, for cheering me on, and for never questioning the mama that I am. I am so grateful for you and I do not take it for granted that I get to have you as my mama 🤍

Our Hyland Rose turned the big FIVE this summer and we had a BLAST celebrating our Rosy girl! She is our caring, kind, intuitive and sensitive girl with a little bit of spice 😂😂😂😂 and oh! How we adore her! She is SO athletic and does everything SO well. We are just so grateful for her precious heart that Abba has entrusted us to lead! Hyland will be such a special instrument in the Kingdom of God and we are thrilled to see her walk it out! Thank you Jesus for this blessing!!!!

As we were riding in the car headed to our Easter lunch, Hadleigh kept talking about all the gifts she would get and the candy she would eat and we kept explaining to her, “baby, today isn’t about what YOU get, it’s about JESUS and what He GAVE”, she huffed and questioned, “why does everything always have to be about Jesus and not me?!?”…. And isn’t that how so many of us live our lives? Without saying those words, that is what our hearts are screaming. Truthfully, this week was rough. On Tuesday Hyland started throwing up, on Wednesday my sweet grandmother passed, early Thursday morning both Hadleigh AND Hayes started puking and did not stop until after 5am AND THEN when I got up I started throwing up. I mean, who’s family gets the stomach bug in the same week their family suffers a tremendous loss, right?! It’s just not fair. BUT. It wasn’t really fair that He took the punishment that WE all owed KNOWING that so many would kick and scream, “ WHY IS THIS LIFE ABOUT YOU AND NOT ME JESUS?!?”- He did all that He did knowing that our hearts would be prone to choose everything BUT HIM. And what filled His heart the most even though He knew ALL of that was LOVE for you and I. What a an incredible God. Help us to find you Lord. I don’t think He will be found with the bunnies or the gifts or the Easter eggs filled with candy- but if we turn our attention to the empty cross and the vacant grave, maybe we will give glory to the only one worthy to be celebrated on this day. Help us to lay our lives down and pick up YOUR cross Jesus. May our tenderness to your sacrifice grow each day and May our eyes be locked into your gaze. It’s YOU who deserves to be celebrated Jesus. Happy Resurrection Day 💫

My beautiful buddy turned 2 last week and I seriously can’t believe it! He is insanely hilarious, the most agile little guy and a complete JOY to our family! We love you so much Hayes Jack! So grateful for the opportunity to love and lead these little ones 🤍

2022-

When I look back over the past year, I can’t relate to a lot of the normal “new year” posts that are circulating. It was not the biggest year for my business nor was it filled with a ton of acolades my children received from the vast amount of extracurriculars they were involved with. In fact, we didn’t win any awards. But even though the world gave us nothing, it was the most successful year in my Home. Our No’s were costly, and we all felt it, but our Yes’s opened doors to so much richness that our family had yet to experience. Our lives had seemed to kind of get out from under us, and this was the year that we reeled it all back in. We laid a lot down, a lot of things we thought we were owed but would you believe me if I told you we received even more than what we had held so dear? But isn’t that just what He does? Takes our little minuscule hopes and dreams into His loving hands and with each yes He receives from us, molds them and shapes them into desires He alone would have to craft within us. I’ll shout it to the rooftops you guys- He’s good. Idk what 2023 has for us, but my prayer is just to remain yielded to Him.

Thanksgiving 2022-

I will treasure these photos for a lifetime. The only way I could be uncertain of the goodness of God would be if I walked around with my eyes closed. It truly surrounds me. I am SO grateful for this family of mine.

Throwback to that one time we shot Caitlin and Taylor's storybook wedding day! These guys had so many hurdles in their wedding planning process- between family illness, Covid and rain- they had to change things up several times.

But these photos only tell their story of Love and I adore that! They had the sweetest, most intimate wedding ceremony and the rainy weather only added to the magic. We love being able to go with the flow and document couples biggest days! We put our creative cap on and put in some work! Twas a gorgeous day!
