Here are 9 things that will kill the vibe (and what to do instead).

1. No having a prepaid open bar. People loosen up with a drink, make sure the bar is stocked or do an open bar.

2. Family photos that take forever. Guests get drained
waiting. Keep the list short and organized.

3. Endless speeches. 2-3 minutes max each. Keep it heartfelt but short so energy stays high.

4. A cheap or inexperienced DJ. Your DJ controls the room Get someone who can read a crowd.

5. Not being the vibe. The couple sets the tone, if you're on the dance floor, everyone else will follow.

6. Skipping vows or emotional moments. Guests want to feel part of your love story. Pull them in!

7. Not actually dancing for your first dances. Walking in a circle for 4 minutes without even one or two spins is so boring and sets the tone for how you will dance the rest of the night.

8. Stopping the party for too many "events." Too many interruptions kill momentum, group them together.

9. Bad lighting. Harsh or bright lights make it hard to relax, dim it down and set the mood.
