This weekend, I made a rare exception and stepped behind the DJ booth for a very special celebration.

Years ago, I had the privilege of DJing this beautiful couple’s wedding, and when they asked me to be part of another milestone celebration surrounded by family and friends, I was honored to say yes.

For this event, Encounter Event Services provided uplighting, audio, DJ entertainment, presentation support, and pre-production coordination to help bring their vision to life.

What made the day even more meaningful was reconnecting with so many familiar faces from their wedding day and catching up with mutual friends we’ve shared over the years. It’s a reminder that some of the best parts of this industry aren’t the equipment or production—they’re the relationships built along the way.

Feeling especially blessed this Memorial Day weekend — watching my wife lead at Shepherd’s Gate while I had the opportunity to support Orchard Grove. Grateful for faith, family, community, and the freedoms we often take for granted.
