Being a florist means creating beauty — but it also means being thoughtful about what we leave behind 🌿✨
At SolMate, we try to design with sustainability in mind whenever possible: • Repurposing vessels, candles, and décor pieces
• Choosing reusable mechanics over floral foam
• Reducing or repurposing plastic as much as possible
• Giving flowers a second life whenever we can
Is it always perfect? No. But we believe small intentional choices add up — and beautiful events can also be kinder to the planet. 🌎💐
To do that means that I deliver bouquets in recycled pasta jars instead of a new vase. Buckets and boxes and packing paper are all reused to help transport and deliver flowers, so when you get your flowers in a repurposed shipping box, it isn't that I'm cheap-it is that I am trying to reduce consumption and use items more than once!

ONE OF THE BEST THINGS YOU CAN DO IS NEVER EVER USE SILK ROSE PETALS ON THE BEACH - they are a threat to wildlife and are forbidden by beach communities. Only use natural or organic items for your aisle way or petal toss.

Hannah chose the Breeze Package with Simple Weddings, which comes with silk floral swags on the arch. She wanted a classic white rose and baby's breath bouquet with a cascade, which she chose to carry inverted, creating a look all her own. It was an elegant statement!
