Want to learn more about your voice and sing great repertoire with a wonderful community? Community, faculty, staff, and students, we have an ensemble for you this fall! Come join Treble Choir each Tuesday from 6:00-7:30pm co-led by Dr. Brian Winnie and the graduate choral conductors as a lab choir experience. Students register today for MUS 110 for credit, and everyone else register through our community music school below! Rehearsals start Tuesday, August 26.

Are you interested in learning more about Estill Voice Technique? Are you free Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:00pm? Consider registering for MUS 403G: Estill Voice Training Level 1 and 2 for 2 credits with Dr. Winnie (EMCI - TP) and Professor Miguel (EMT).

This course is open to all University students. Western Illinois is an Estill Educational Affiliate institution. See course description below:
“The Level 1 and 2 Course is for anyone who would like to improve their singing or speaking voice—singers, actors, vocal coaches, drama instructors, speech-language pathologists and other vocal health professionals. Level 1: Foundations of Estill Voice Training® & Figures for Voice™ teach the Craft of speaking and singing and employs exercises that will give you new vocal options for all styles. Level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities™ combines Figure options from Level 1 to produce six voice qualities—Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera, and Belt. This course offers a clear understanding of the voice’s limitless possibilities, along with how to keep it vibrant and healthy.”
