I grew up watching my mom work so hard. I remember being Brody’s age—maybe 7—and she’d wake me up early so we could “race” to get ready. I always won 🏁 and then I’d sit there watching her finish getting ready to clock in. I hated that part… hated watching her leave for work.

Now that I’m raising my boys, I see it differently. Kids don’t care what you do—they admire how you do it.

But me? I’m planting seeds of ownership. Whether they choose to build something or clock in somewhere, they’ll know both sides.

The world is theirs. 🌍✨

Over the weekend we were honored to prepare and deliver charcuterie cups for Miss Vanessa of at the pop up debut of her candle line!

This was such a full circle moment for me + my business as I remember a time when we first were getting started I began sending out PR packages to brands that I believed our charcuterie would align with. I actually didn’t even realize she wasn’t from the city until we interacted back in ‘21 😭😭

4 years later, she remembered R&B Charcuterie ✨

To help embody the details of this event we dusted our blackberries with edible gold which match the lids of the candle vessels and of course what good is charcuterie without FANCY marmalade.

Thank you to my team for helping me execute quickly in an already super busy season and understanding + thank you thank you thank you Vanessa for trusting us!
