A beautiful room may catch the eye, but a thoughtfully layered table invites guests into the experience.

For Baby Holt’s Baby in Bloom celebration, soft blue-and-ivory florals flowed along the table among crystal chargers, floral dinnerware, custom thank-you notes and illuminated centerpieces. Each element was chosen to complement the next, creating a tablescape that felt warm, elegant and intentionally designed.

Baby in Bloom: Welcoming Baby Holt

There is something especially meaningful about being chosen to create for someone who has been a part of your own journey.

Summer has been one of my longtime treat makers, bringing her creativity and beautiful work to many Pretti & Posh Events celebrations. This time, it was our honor to celebrate her as the mother-to-be.

Summer and Tavius entrusted us with creating a sophisticated blue-and-white baby shower as they prepare to welcome their sweet blessing, Baby Holt. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to surround this growing family with beauty, love, and celebration.

Luxury is found in the consistency of every detail.

For Mrs. Thelma’s 70th birthday celebration, we transformed her favorite color—pink—into a sophisticated and timeless experience accented with rich black, warm gold, and layers of pearls.

Designing for 200 guests meant ensuring that every table carried the same intentional story. From the lush floral centerpieces and pink taper candles to the black velvet linens, pearl details, and gold-beaded chargers, each element was thoughtfully selected to create elegance throughout the room.

This was more than decorating tables. It was creating an atmosphere worthy of celebrating 70 beautiful years in bloom.

A Garden of a Lifetime: 70 Years in Bloom

Mrs. Thelma’s 70th birthday celebration was lovingly given in her honor by her daughter, Whitney. With pink as Mrs. Thelma’s favorite color, Whitney envisioned a sophisticated and timeless pink-and-black celebration for 200 guests—and what a celebration it was.

It was a pleasure welcoming Whitney back as a returning client after designing her baby shower in January 2026. The love and thought she poured into every part of this occasion deserve to be commended. She made certain her mother received her flowers as she gracefully bloomed into 70.

One of the most meaningful elements was the memorial wall—a beautiful tribute honoring the loved ones who remain an important part of the family’s story. It added a quiet, personal moment of remembrance to a day filled with celebration.

Designing for 200 guests presented a challenge, but seeing Whitney’s vision come together made every detail worthwhile. This week, we’ll share more of the experience created to celebrate this beautiful milestone.
