🩷 October 15 is Global Lobular Breast Cancer Awareness Day, a day to shine a light on invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC), which accounts for 15% of breast cancer cases yet receives less than 1% of research funding.

ILC behaves differently. It may not always form a lump and is harder to detect, especially in dense breast tissue.
