As a wedding officiant, it’s such a beautiful moment to guide the bride and groom, along with their young children, in the creation of The Unity Sand Ceremony. The finished product symbolizes the union of their parents and the one-of-a-kind spirit each child adds to the family.

Beautiful venue. Warm and supportive staff.

Planning a wedding is already stressful enough. Between narrowing down a guest list, finding wedding accessories, and figuring out what to do with your pets for the big day, making so many decisions may just make you want to rip your hair out. First, no judgment here…and second…do not touch that...

ON THIS DAY: Seventy years ago, Rosa Parks, a Black seamstress, was arrested after refusing to give up her seat to a white man on a Montgomery, Alabama, city bus.

A new perspective that I will embrace from today forward.

A wedding is a day like no other. To see two people coming together and expressing their love is magical. It brings out the best in all of us and no one can fail to be moved by it. Pronouncing a couple married is always an honor, especially for close friends! Melanie and John, you two make the perfect couple and I’m so happy to see you’ve found such love with each other. Congratulations!
