There is something so peaceful about designing in soft pinks, gentle greens and a hint of white for a memorial service. The delicate shades of pink represent love, grace, and cherished memories, while the soft greens and white bring a sense of peace, hope, and renewal.

Creating sympathy flowers has never been just a job to me—it truly touches my heart. Being trusted to design a family's final gift of love and remembrance for someone so near and dear is a privilege I never take for granted. Every bloom is placed with care, every arrangement is created with compassion, and every design is made in hopes of bringing even the smallest measure of comfort during life's most difficult moments.

My thoughts and prayers are with this family as they celebrate a beautiful life and say their final farewell. 💗🌿

I know it’s not flower related, but do you get peace sitting outside watching these beautiful creatures? Also do you see the new twin babies? The babies names are cinnamon and sugar. I sit outside every evening waiting for them to come up and just hang out on their daily adventure ❤️ 🦌
Also to add, I am literally feet away from them. They don’t mind my presence, I even talk to them like they are going to talk back 😂

As many of you know, Kathryn's is beginning a new chapter, and I wanted to bring you along for the journey.

This beautiful accent wall is just a small glimpse of the new workspace where Kathryn's Flower Shop will continue creating heartfelt floral tributes for the families and funeral homes we are so honored to serve.

This transition hasn't been easy, but your love, encouragement, kind words, and support have meant more to me than you'll ever know. Thank you for standing by Kathryn's through every season.

I promise to keep sharing updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and the transformation as this new space comes together. While things may look a little different, the heart of Kathryn's remains exactly the same—creating meaningful floral designs with compassion, care, and love.

I forgot to take after pictures of the 2 standing sprays, but here’s the aftermath. This is what you call being available for families when they need you most. The blue and white casket spray I shared the other day, once the family saw it, they wanted 2 standing sprays to match. When I say I moved to get those done, I’m not kidding. I got to the shop, made the standing sprays, printed the ribbon, and got to the funeral home all within 1 hour of receiving the phone call. I pushed myself to make sure these standing sprays made it to visitation for this family. They, along with their funeral director told me as long as I had them done by the time of the service today, it would be ok. As most of you know, ok is not good enough for me. They made it for visitation last night. This is what I call being there for families ❤️

Most of you have seen my live video, that post came straight from my heart, and I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for the overwhelming love, kind words, prayers, and encouragement. Reading your comments has meant more to me than I could ever express.

While the storefront chapter is coming to an end, please know that Kathryn's is not closing. I will continue doing what has always been closest to my heart—creating meaningful sympathy flowers for families and serving our local funeral homes. It is truly an honor to help families express love during some of life's most difficult moments, and I will continue to be here for all of your sympathy floral needs.

I also want to leave you with something that has been weighing heavily on my heart. Please continue to support small businesses whenever you can. Behind every small business is a family making sacrifices, employees who depend on their jobs, and owners who pour everything they have into serving their communities. Rising costs and changing times have made it incredibly difficult for so many of us to keep our doors open.

If we want our local, family-owned businesses to still be here tomorrow, they need our support today. Every purchase, every recommendation, every share on social media, every review, and every kind word truly makes a difference. Those little acts of support mean more than most people realize.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in Kathryn's through every season. Your support over the years has helped make this little flower shop part of so many special moments and final farewells.
