When I first started this re-do I wouldn't even go in this bathroom. There were no lights and long overdue for a good scrubbing. Took out the drop ceiling, pulled off the wall panels, paint, new chandelier and penny tile floor. My contractor Derrick did a great job restoring the original tub and converting this dresser from one of my favorite stores into a sink.

Finally getting some before, during and after photos posted. This Ole girl had not had a paint job in my lifetime. Matter of fact, there were only 2 coats of paint in places on the 100 year old gal. She really soaked it up. Mr Turk did a fantastic job working with her. She took more paint and time than anticipated but she turned out beautiful.

This spot in the kitchen holds so many memories. My Papa sat here every morning before daylight drinking coffee and listening to his am radio. No day on the farm could start without the weather report. Summer time, these window sills would be lined with ripening tomatoes and the breeze blowing through. We only had nature's ac. Doing what I can to preserve the history for the next generation. 🍅🌾
