We are so saddened by the loss of this sweet woman. We are working on displaying her story in our barn and it is truly one of a kind. ❤️ She will be missed dearly but we are so so happy we got to meet her, hear about her amazing life & family, and that she got to see the barn resurrected!
When our barn collapsed in 2021, we, by only Gods design, found another barn to help combine with our barn to rebuild and keep as much rustic/old wood as possible. Little did we know we would create a lifetime friendship with the family who once owned the barn & property it stood on for over 50 years (Sandy Slope) which is now Sandy Slope Elementary School in Appleton.
The Van Handels family story is so unique, so amazing, and so full of love & Jesus. We can’t wait to share more of the history, photos, & so much more with you!
