📚✏️ Back-to-School Minis are always so fun! 🍎📸

Last year, I had the sweetest brother and sister come into the studio for my Back-to-School Minis, and I was so excited when their family came back again this year! 🥹❤️

Watching these kiddos grow from one school year to the next is such a special reminder of why I love what I do. It may only be a quick session, but these photos become memories you'll look back on for years to come.

These two had the best time laughing, smiling, and showing off their personalities in the studio, and I absolutely loved getting to catch up with them again!

🎭 I had the pleasure of spending some time at rehearsal for Theatre's production of Annie, and let me tell you... this cast is incredible!

It was so much fun getting to photograph rehearsal and watch so many talented friends bring this beloved classic to life. The energy, the music, and the heart this cast pours into every scene is something truly special.

Congratulations to everyone involved on all of your hard work! I know your audiences are in for such a treat.

✨ Strength. Resilience. Beauty. ✨

A few weeks ago, I had the absolute honor of photographing one of the most inspiring women I've ever met.

Her story is one of incredible perseverance. After developing a severe lung infection, she became critically ill, spent time in a coma, and faced complications that forever changed her life. As a result, she lost portions of all four of her limbs.

Most people would let that define them.

She doesn't.

Instead, she has embraced this as her new normal and continues to live her life with strength, joy, humor, and grace. She is proof that our circumstances don't determine who we are—our spirit does.

Spending time with her was such a gift. She has the sweetest personality, a contagious smile, and a light that shines from the inside out. I left our session feeling inspired, and I hope these photos help others see what I saw: an absolutely beautiful woman whose disability is only one part of her story.

In addition to her personal session, she wanted to capture a few images in recognition of Disability Awareness Month, and I was more than happy to help celebrate her and the amazing community she represents.

Thank you for trusting me to tell a small piece of your story. It was truly an honor to meet you, and I hope these images remind everyone that beauty, confidence, and strength come in so many different forms.

🎬✨ One last post from the Cultivated Blooms Retreat... behind the scenes! ✨🌸

As much as I loved sharing all of the beautiful finished images, I couldn't wrap up this series without showing you what went on behind the scenes.

These incredible women poured their hearts into every single setup. From unloading supplies and arranging florals to tweaking every little detail until it was just right, the amount of time, creativity, and teamwork that went into each design was truly inspiring to watch. The finished photos are beautiful, but seeing all of the hard work behind them makes them even more meaningful.

It was such a joy getting to work alongside these talented florists, the amazing models, and everyone else who helped make this retreat such a success. We definitely battled the Texas heat 🥵, but every sweaty minute was worth it! The laughter, creativity, and friendships made throughout the day are memories I'll cherish for a long time.

A huge thank you to everyone who trusted me to capture not only the finished masterpieces but also the process that brought them to life. It was an honor to document so much talent in one place, and I truly hope I get the opportunity to be a part of another retreat like this in the future.

🫖✨ And finally... the last setup, Enchanted Canopy! ✨🫖

I saved this one for last, and it couldn't be a more perfect way to wrap up this incredible styled retreat.

This whimsical setup gave me all the Wonderland vibes, and if you know me... you know that was right up my alley! 💙🐇🍄 From the dreamy details to the magical atmosphere, everything about this design felt like stepping into another world.

To make it even sweeter, one of my besties was the primary model for this setup! Watching her bring this vision to life was such a joy, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park, along with some of the other beautiful models!

The lighting was an absolute dream, and since this was my final setup of the day, I was able to spend the most time here really soaking it all in. I got to slow down, experiment, and truly enjoy photographing every little whimsical detail. Needless to say... I completely ate it up! 😍

I honestly can't say enough about the talent behind these designs. Every setup had its own personality, and these ladies poured so much creativity, planning, and hard work into making each one feel unique.

✨🪩 Setup, Festival In Bloom! 🪩✨

Can we just take a moment to appreciate this absolute explosion of color?! 🌸💛💚💖

Festival In Bloom was everything fun, funky, and fabulous. Think vibrant hot pinks, electric greens, sunny yellows, vintage records, sparkling disco balls, and the most incredible floral designs all coming together for the ultimate '70s-inspired dream.

I was obsessed with this setup from the second I saw it! Every little detail was thoughtfully planned, and these talented ladies truly outdid themselves. The creativity, the color palette, the textures... it all came together so beautifully and made photographing it an absolute blast.

And can we talk about the models?! 🔥 They completely understood the assignment and brought so much energy and personality to this set. Every pose, every laugh, every little moment made this colorful vision come to life.

This styled retreat continues to be one of my favorite creative experiences, and I'm so thankful I had the opportunity to capture these incredible artists and their work. I still have one more setup to share, and I can't wait for you to see it!

🍦☀️ Okay... onto the next setup! ☀️🍦

This adorable setup was called "She's Been Scooped Up," and it was every bit as sweet as it sounds! Set poolside with an ice cream theme, it was colorful, playful, and full of soft summer vibes. From the fun florals to the cute details, this one was impossible not to smile while photographing!

I was especially excited because one of my friends and favorite models was part of this setup! It always makes a shoot even more special when you get to create alongside people you know and love.

After a full day of shooting, we couldn't resist getting some of the models together for a few extra pool photos. They were the perfect way to wrap up an incredible day filled with creativity, laughter, and a whole lot of Texas sunshine.

And yes... it was HOT. 🥵 But don't worry—I eventually got to jump in the pool too, so it all worked out! 😂

This retreat has been such a fun one to look back on, and I still have more beautiful setups to share. Thanks for letting me relive these amazing memories with all of you!

Sorry... not sorry! 😅📸

Back in June, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph a styled shoot with an amazing group of women who are all Forest School teachers. This retreat wasn't just about creating beautiful florals—it was a chance for them to learn from one another, grow in their craft, and pour into each other's creativity.

Together, they designed four breathtaking floral installations, partnered with several amazing bridal and formalwear boutiques that graciously loaned stunning gowns, and worked with beautiful models who helped bring each vision to life.

I spent the day taking BTS of the ladies building these set ups and running from one setup to the next, trying not to miss a single detail. It was a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and one of the most inspiring styled shoots I've ever been a part of.

So... sorry not sorry for the photo overload that's coming your way! 😂 This is just one of the four incredible setups, and over the next several days I'll be sharing each one, along with a few behind-the-scenes moments from this unforgettable experience.
