A huge thank you to Alexis Ramirez, owner of Play It Again , for generously donating this AMAZING soft play setup for tomorrow’s Adaptive Play Day, along with all the other materials that have been poured into this space.
Adaptive Play Day is designed for children with disabilities and diverse needs who may feel overwhelmed or left out in traditional play environments. This is a space where they are free to explore, be themselves, and feel included without pressure or judgment.
We will be at The Chambers Rock House in Lufkin from 5–8 PM, and one of the things we love most about this space is that it allows us to create separate rooms tailored to each child’s needs. Whether they need a quieter, low-stimulation environment or a more active play area, we are able to meet them where they are.
This space is also created with parents in mind. Families are able to drop their children off and pick them up at 8 PM, giving them a much-needed break, while their children are cared for by trained, trusted volunteers who understand their needs.
