Happy Grandparents Day!

In honor of all our Grandparents, EnigmaWorx is offering a FREE escape room ticket for Grandma or Grandpa, when accompanied by their family, this ENTIRE WEEKEND (Sep 5-7, 2025).

Here's how it works:
1. Book an escape room with us for this weekend with at least 3 fully paid tickets (not including the grandparent).
2. Bring those three or more people to your booking AND bring Grandma/Grandpa along, too.
3. We will add ONE grandparent to the booking in person at no charge.
4. Play and have fun!

THIS WEEK'S LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES:

Sometime the things we work on have nothing to do with the actual escape rooms at EnigmaWorx. Currently, we are in the middle of a project where we are making some pretty noticeable changes to the facade of the entire building. We will be working on this for the next couple weeks, at least.

So, if it looks like the building's exterior is a little messy, don't worry. Just "Pardon Our Mess", as they say, while we work hard to make things look a little nicer when you come to visit us. We will be open our usual hours every week during this project. Just watch your step, follow any signage or construction barriers, and it'll all be done soon. There's plenty of parking in front of the building and in back, off of Avenue M.

The other merchants in Park Place Center will also be open their regular hours during this project. Come see our friends at Happy Tails Pet Grooming and Pura Envidia Tattoo Parlor when you can!

LABOR DAY WEEKEND FUN!

Now that classes are under way, and you've made it to a hard-earned long weekend, why not kick back and have some fun this weekend? Play an ESCAPE ROOM!

We have 5 great escape rooms available for you all weekend long (although we are closed on Monday - our staff need a break, as well!). Friday and Sunday, we are open 3pm to 11pm and Saturday, we are open 11am to 11pm, with late night bookings available!

In today's BEHIND THE SCENES peek: Escape Room Electronics.

It takes a lot to bring your fantasies to life, and a big part of making things in an escape room happen automatically or in response to a player's actions is made possible by responsive electronics. Some are simple circuits and some are complex combinations of relays. Either way, all of these things that function out of sight take significant planning, building, testing, etc. for weeks, sometimes months, prior to opening a room.

At EnigmaWorx, we source our electronics parts from a variety of places. Much of what we use is simply a pile of parts until our skilled electronics experts craft them into something wonderful! We want our guests to be immersed in the fantasy world of their choice where things happen in exciting and unexpected ways.

It's MOVE-IN WEEKEND at Texas Tech University this weekend, August 21-24, 2025!

We know you're going to be very busy finding your dorm, getting all your stuff situated, figuring out the immense campus, and making new friends. When things settle down and you need something fun to do and want to see what Lubbock has to offer you, come visit EnigmaWorx for one of our awesome Escape Rooms. ENIGMAWORX CELEBRATES OUR 1000th ESCAPE ROOM BOOKING!

Yesterday, EnigmaWorx played our 1000th booking since we opened 20 months ago. This group of four intrepid adventurers faced hungry, hungry dinosaurs for a full hour, with bravery!

Last week, the employees at the TTU Student Union & Activities discovered the powerful effects that team-building can have on their morale and drive to succeed.

18 friends from the TTU SUB visited EnigmaWorx and played three of our most popular escape rooms and had a blast working together, solving problems, and bonding as a cohesive unit. We are so very proud to have been a part of strengthening this team to serve the students of Texas Tech and we look forward to seeing them and their colleagues soon!
