Happy Thanksgiving! 6 years ago, Lillie’s officially opened on Black Friday. I had high hopes for the shop and also a high level of awareness that it could fail miserably.

On that day, I had four appointments. Only one bride purchased (shout out to Sydney!), but I’ll never forget her, her family, and the dress she bought. It was the little glimmer of hope that maybe, just MAYBE the shop would be okay. Not because of the sale itself, but because of the kindness that the bride showed me.

Now we are a full team of like-minded women who are all obsessed with and dedicated to helping brides feel beautiful, comfortable, and seen. I’m so proud of our focus on what matters the most: YOU!

So if you are a bride who bought your dress with us anytime in the last 6 years, THANK YOU 🫶 our shop wouldn’t be what it is today if you hadn’t given us a chance to serve you on your special day. We don’t take it lightly, and I hope and pray that all brides who come into our store feel that!
