A delightful visit with Alyson and Jamison from Sacramento State College Rowing Team who participated in the Oregon State University Invitational Regatta hosted at Dexter Lake Reservoir in our quaint little town on May 3.

I have always enjoyed the view of the rowers on the lake but had never attended a Regatta. While Alyson and Jamison were jogging in the neighborhood they stumbled across my shop while I was slinging dirt in the garden. Lol
They were curious and soon greeted by our family cats and my little dog while we strolled through the gardens learning and laughing about our worlds. I also was curious about their sport and the next morning stopped by to capture a view of their world. I look forward to attending more Regattas in the future thanks to the connection with these two amazing ladies.

Floral Living will be open the following days Mother's Day week:

Wednesday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Thursday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

I will not be open this year on Mother's Day, however, flowers will be available at

As a semi- retired florist, I look forward to a road trip to Washington to spend time with my kids and grandkids on Mother's Day for the first time in over 10 years. Lol

A big shout to my Floral Living guests and community for your support during the temporary closure of my shop. During the closure, I have been able to fill daily orders by appointment with flexibility for family care.

I am excited to open back up April 2.
Outside of shop hours, deliveries and pickups are available by appointment
