You’re not bad at tarot.
You’re just scared of doing it wrong.

And honestly? That’s the biggest thing that stops people before they even start.

This class is all about learning how to trust what you’re already picking up—without memorizing a million meanings or second guessing every card.

Long before Easter, the season itself was enough cause for celebration! 🌷
Before resurrection had a name,
before churches marked the day,
there was the turning of the earth.

✨The Spring Equinox✨
When the light returned, the ground softened-
and life began again.
A time of rebirth, fertility, and the quiet magic of something stirring beneath the surface.

Eggs have long been symbols of new life 🥚
Hares and rabbits, represent fertility and the wild pulse of spring. 🐰

Spring returns after the cold has passed to remind us all, that we are allowed to begin again. 💜

☀️ Step into the light.
🌱Plant something new.
🌸 See what grows.

And last but not least, come enjoy yourself on the Elixir patio 😉
Cheers witches!!!🥂

As many of you know, the corner of 6th and Park holds a long-told story of history, magic, and mayhem dating back 136 years this past weekend.

The legend dates back to the late 1800s, when a beautiful, towering maple tree stood at the corner, shading the neighborhood and serving as a gathering place for witches and practitioners of the time.

In 1889, city officials announced their plan to cut down the beloved tree for May Day celebrations, sparking an uproar among local mystics. Ignoring their plea’s, the city felled the tree, leaving behind only a stump.

Shortly after on March 27, 1890, a devastating tornado tore through Louisville—part of one of the deadliest tornado outbreaks in U.S. history.

As the storm raged, a bolt of lightning struck the remains of the stump… and in time, a twisted, knotted tree grew in its place.

From that moment on, rumor spread that the tornado was no accident, but a retaliation—a curse cast by the witches for destroying the sacred tree.
To this day, the “Witches’ Tree” still stands.
And those who believe still leave offerings such as charms, beads, keys, and spells—as tokens of respect.

Perhaps the witches knew what could happen as a result of messing with the tree and Mother Nature’s energy and tried to warn us?
Maybe instead of blaming witches, we start listening to them 👀
