We can get to the nitty-gritty in a minute, but let me tell you a little bit about myself! I am a wife to a loving husband, Chuck; a mother to a sweet little boy, Eli; and a crazy animal lover. My passion for photography blossomed when I was just a young lady, photographing horses for sale ads. Now, while I love to photograph Equines, I mostly stick to blushing brides, gorgeous families and sweet kiddos. Let's chat!! I would LOVE to talk to you and help bring your vision to life!

I've taken some time off to help my son with his own battle and I'm not shooting often anymore, but this one made me pull out the camera and dust her off.

Some of you know little Hannah. Hannah is the daughter of one of my very best friends, and Hannah is a warrior. Hannah is fighting Medulloblastoma, a fast-growing cancerous brain tumor that originates in the cerebellum. This little girl is FIERCE.. she's always been fierce, and this battle has shown the world that she is here to kick butt and take names.

So without further ado, happy 7th birthday, Hannah. WE LOVE YOU!

Ok.. This is maybe a little bit of a sappy post, but it has a point. And beautiful pictures of a gorgeous young lady.

On May 9, my 10 year old son was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. We spent 35 days in the hospital, and by the grace of God we are now "home" - but that means a lot of chemo visits, blood work, restless nights and crazy schedules. I've obviously needed to not push my business hard as I balance my full time job and helping my sweet boy get better.

Some of his treatments are home-health where a nurse comes to give him the treatments on the weekends. One of these nurses is named Jackie - and she is an angel. Funny, we've met before as she and her daughter attended the saddle club shows that we help put together. Crazy to have her as our nurse, such a small world. Anyways, this sweet lady's AMAZING daughter was having a birthday and Jackie asked me to come to the farm to do some photos. A little anxious because I haven't done much with my camera for some months, I agreed.

Talk about MAGIC. This young lady, Carlee, is such a riot. Pleasant, polite, but hilarious and a great hand with her two wonderful equines. So.. without further ado, here are a few images we captured last weekend. Thank you Jackie for getting me back out there!
