Sometimes reminders of what Sparks Barn is really about comes in the most unexpected ways. We received this touching message from Torri after the Ellenwood wedding:

Good morning, I just want to let you know what an incredible place you have. Also the fact that you and your crew made our son Maverick feel so welcome as a “worker” last night at the Ellenwood wedding. He is still talking about his friend “Jace”. Thank you as well for a shirt for Maverick, he was over the moon about it and he can’t wait to wear it. It speaks volume about Sparks Barn, it’s more than a place of work it’s about community and family! Blessed to be able to experience this with my family. -Torri

Maverick was the ring bearer for the wedding, but somewhere along the way, he decided he had another very important job, helping our staff through out the evening, he especially loved hanging out with staff member, Jace. Maverick told us someday, when he has a “real job” he’s going to work at Sparks Barn, so we had to make sure our future employee had a Sparks Barn shirt!

Thank you Torri, for taking the time to send such a touching message. That is exactly what we want Sparks Barn to be, a place where people feel welcome and where families make memories that go far beyond a wedding day.

A special wedding day at Barn.

It’s always an honor to celebrate the marriage of someone who was once a student in my classroom. What a privilege to be a small part in one of their most meaningful moments in life. Seeing these two worlds come full circle is incredibly special.

To all the couples who have trusted Sparks Barn with their wedding day, thank you. Every love story we celebrate at Sparks Barn holds a special place in our hearts. This one simply reminded me how quickly time passes and how rewarding it is to watch young people grow into amazing adults.

Congratulations to all the happy couples. Wishing all of you a lifetime of love, laughter and unforgettable memories.

Sparks Barn kicked off the Nebraska wedding season with blue skies, sunshine and a little taste of summer . . . . in March! Let the 2026 celebrations begin with great parties and a barn full of memories!
