Future Promotions, LLC Future Promotions, LLC was established in 2011 by Mr. Murray and two close friends. Completely unaware this would not be the most important fight of his life.

Its goal is to promote professional as well as amateur boxing matches in Louisville. Its mission is to provide professional venues where fighters can showcase their tale On December 11, 2009 Dereco Murray an up and coming prize fighter from Louisville, KY stood center ring pumping his fist and holding up the KY Championship Title belt he had just won. One month laterDereco began having migraine he

adaches. After a week of the headaches becoming more frequent and serve he checked himself into the emergency room. Dereco was diagnosed with a blood clot on his brain and rushed into emergency surgery. After months of therapy and rehabilitation Dereco was able to make a full recovery. He will never be able to box again, but his love for the sport remains unwavering.

The "Battle of Lou 2025" Pro/Am boxing event, presented by Future Promotions and All Or Nothing Boxing Academy, is relocating to Germantown Baseball Park at 1537 Poplar Level Rd, Louisville, KY 40217.

This exciting new location brings the event to the heart of a vibrant and historic Louisville neighborhood. Germantown Baseball Inc. offers ample space, better accessibility for fans, and a fresh atmosphere for showcasing elite amateur and professional boxing talent from Louisville and St. Louis.

The relocation reflects the event’s growth and its commitment to bringing high-energy boxing entertainment to new parts of the city. With support from USA Boxing, Louisville, and community partners, the September 6th showdown promises to be the biggest Battle of Lou yet — featuring top-tier fighters, community energy, and nonstop action.
