One of the things I love about planning events is seeing how creative a culinary team can get.

Food and beverage isn't simply about selecting a menu. Presentation, service style, and even how guests interact with the food can completely change the feel of an event.

A reception - individual portions can make it easier to network and navigate. Decor - incorporate a creative F&B display. Entertainment - add a culinary action station.

Over the years, I've taken more photos of interesting banquet food than I realized. Sharing a few with you today.

Some destinations give you a beautiful backdrop. Others become part of the experience.

Budapest definitely falls into the 2nd category.

From its incredible architecture and history to its food, w**e, culture, and unexpected experiences, this city gave us so many opportunities to create moments that felt distinctly Budapest.

That's one of my favorite parts of destination event planning - finding ways to let guests experience a place rather than just attend an event there.

Budapest gave us plenty to work with ... and plenty worth remembering!
