We have just planned our campaign launch for July 12th from 6pm to 8pm. Please mark your calendars. We will announce the location for our launch event next week, and you know it will be somewhere in πŸ’•

There will be so many ways to get involved with this campaign for Louisville Metro Council District 3. It's a special election, and we are not taking anything or anyone for granted.

Thank you for all the love and support!
We need all the help we can get! means a stronger voice and advocate that will work hard to improve together. We have very proud residents in our growing working class community filled with small businesses, young people, seasoned folks, and immigrants who want to survive and thrive. I want to get its fair share with more resources and better policies. Just like redistricting has brought changes, another goal of mine is to get on Metro Council and be a uniting force because the decision-making there impacts all 26 districts in Louisville and Jefferson County. Ready to listen, learn and serve our city in a bigger way! πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

A new way to see is coming...Stay tuned!

I take my God Mother duties seriously! Today I am proud of my Godson LaBryce Byrnes ❀️ He has graduated from Waggener High school with an academic and sports scholarship to Lindsey Wilson College. We lost his mother 2 years ago and he is her youngest of 4. She would have been ecstatic. The family you create is so important. Thankful LaBryce has a village. He kept going with a great deal of support from his sisters, brother, and more.... β€οΈπŸ’•β€οΈ

😴 Today was a very good day! Now that my daughter Zacaria has shared the pictures from my son Jaiden's 8th grade promotion today, I am happy to show you all how proud of him we are πŸ’•βœ¨οΈπŸ’• He is my youngest of 6, and the last of my graduates in the making! I am so thankful for my all my kids and the village we created for Jaiden. He did it with lots of help from the teachers and staff at Olmsted Academy North and those who assisted with NTI, rides, homework, meals, self-esteem, encouragement, goals, faith, and more... Cheers to all the students celebrating promotions and graduations. All the best!
These are very important steps!

Busy day on the last day of May 2023 traveling across our beautiful state with Leader Christina.
We were invited to be a part of a special announcement regarding research on promising medicine and then we went to Covington, Kentucky to connect with people doing great work in harm reduction that saves lives while supporting Dream.org.

We truly have a 120 County focus to ensure that every one impacted by mass incarceration, HIV/AIDS, poverty, homelessness and the failed war on drugs in Kentucky, has a menu of services with advocacy, resources and direct action for better policies.

May 29, 2020 was significant. We knew we were not going anywhere. The police and administration refused to comply even though we knew . Every day during the Movement at , we all wore tee shirts with a message. Although there were some agents and fakers, those shirts helped us identify our people. I don’t know about y’all but I got a big bin full of social justice tees next to my bed. It grew so much in #2020. My husbands and kids collections grew too. If you know me, you know I don’t wear a lot of branding but I will rock a tee with a message:-) From to to to to to to , there was a shirt to take you there. Please share your favorite quote, memes, pictures, shirts from 2020 and beyond here or at wegettheretogether.com ❀️

On May 28th & 29th of 2020 a group of organizers, organizations and people who were just fed up showed up because . We knew should be alive and when the 911 calls with was released, it confirmed our worse fears and removed some of the benefit of doubt our police received.

I want to thank everyone that showed up, stood up, donated, prayed, stayed and loved on us as we help sustain one of the longest civil rights protest in our history. πŸ’•βœ¨οΈπŸ’•

I was the leader of & newly elected co-chair of The Kentucky Alliance Against Racist & Political Repression along with Tyra Walker & Dre Dawson. I decided to be a resource, have my team work from Jefferson Square Park and renamed it Park, because we knew the Movement needed a base. No one had all the answers or did it all by themselves, and everyone wanted to do something. It was a complicated mess, both beautiful and ugly but there was more unity & solidarity than anything else.❀️

Things were not perfect and but our corrupt police department and the administration that let it run our city were far from innocent. They used the media to try to control the narrative, but it was our own 502 llive streamers that captured it all. Yes , and too many others were relevant catalysts, but we had our own: , who once worked for the very system that killed her. A first responder, dedicated to saving lives, had her life take through negligence when former Judge Mary Shaw started it all by signing bogus death warrants without scrutiny in minutes. We always knew why we were there. We always had demands. We met people where they were and 3 yrs later we must because . Thank you to the pro bono attorneys & people that worked inside and out. Over 1,000 of us were arrested and some are still fighting related charges. Corruption uses the judicial process to play the long game. So we will keep honoring those lost & push on for justice, equality & an end of
