WEDDING DANCE HELP WITHOUT THE PANIC

You do not have to wait until the week before the wedding and attempt emergency living room choreography at midnight.

There is a much better option.

At Bravo Dance Studio, we help couples prepare for wedding dances in a way that is clear, fun, and realistic. Bring your song, tell us what you want the dance to feel like, and we will help shape it into something that works.

Simple and natural? Great.

More polished and choreographed? Also great.

Not sure yet? Completely normal.

We offer different wedding dance packages, and lessons can be built around your music, your timeline, your comfort level, and your personalities. The dance should fit you, not feel like something copied from someone else.

No experience needed. LGBTQ+ couples and all partnership types are welcome.

The goal is not to make you look like different people. The goal is to help you look prepared, connected, and comfortable as yourselves.

Mid-August is Elvis season, and we're giving the King his own Friday night. Expect his hits woven through the evening — a little swagger, a little rock 'n' roll, a lot of dancing.

From 8:00 to 9:30 the floor at Bravo Dance Studio in Louisville runs the full mix: Waltz, Foxtrot, East Coast Swing, and Salsa. Just know this is a party for dancing, not a beginner class, so a few steps in your pocket will serve you well. Light refreshments provided, and everyone's invited — current student or not.

$12 per person. Elvis on the speakers, you on the floor. Thank you very much.

Here's the truth: tango starts as a walk. A deliberate, grounded walk with your partner, and everything dramatic gets built on top of that later. On night one, you're learning to move together and hold a confident frame — nothing you can't do.

YOUR CHA CHA IS ABOUT TO GET LONGER

The best day in any class is the day somebody hands you something new. That's the entire point of this one.

Three Sundays of Cha Cha, all new figures, and each week picks up exactly where the last one stopped. Week one is the material. Week two adds to it. Week three puts it together so it works on a social floor, not just in the corner of the studio where you drilled it.

This is intermediate and advanced, so we're not spending twenty minutes on the basic. You have that. We're building on top of it.

Sundays at 5:30 PM at Bravo Dance Studio in Louisville, August 16, 23 and 30. Fifty minutes each week, $36 for all three, no partner required. Come with what you know and leave with more.

Every Latin night has that moment. The Bachata song comes on, everyone couples up, and if you don't know the steps you're stuck doing the polite side-to-side shuffle and pretending it counts.

It doesn't have to be that way. Bachata is one of the friendliest Latin dances to learn — a four-count basic with a relaxed hip motion, and most people are moving comfortably by the end of the first night. Two Tuesdays is plenty of time to feel it click.

We teach it from zero at Bravo Dance Studio in Louisville, August 18 and 25 at 7:00 PM. No experience needed, and no partner required, because we rotate the whole room. Coming solo is completely normal here.

TWO NIGHTS A WEEK, ONE EASY YES

Saying yes to most things is complicated. You need a partner, or a plan, or a free weekend you don't actually have. Line dance asks for none of that.

You show up alone, you stand in a row, and you follow along. Nobody is watching your feet because everybody is busy watching their own. A few songs in, it stops feeling like a class. We dance to country, club, modern hits, ballroom and Latin, in a room with real color lights and a sound system that makes it feel more like a night out than a lesson.

Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00 PM at Bravo Dance Studio in Louisville. Fifty minutes, $12 per person, all levels. Pick a night and come see.
