Art Sanctuary would like to formally address the public commentary circulating regarding allegations against a sound design contractor. Art Sanctuary has been undergoing extreme changes over the last year that includes many staffing changes. During this period, Michael was contracted by Art Sanctuary to run sound for three of Art Sanctuary's events.

In light of the information shared, we have severed our professional ties with him and he will no longer be contracted for any of our events. Art Sanctuary is committed to taking all allegations seriously and would never willfully disregard allegations of abuse. We will do everything in our power to protect the trust that our community has put in us to maintain a safe space.

I’m sitting here filled with the most amount of 💜 LOVE 💜after last night’s TRULY incredible Goth Prom featuring The Kentucky Vampires 🖤🖤🖤

Louisville (and beyond), you all REALLY showed up and dressed up and DANCED and sang and created the BEST energy for our send off before the move! 💜 This place on Shelby has been our HOME for over 13 years and it’s been absolutely MAGICAL being a part of this community. We love you all to the core! 🖤

Creating and maintaining this space has not been easy, but the rewards and love have far outweighed anything else. It has been an absolute HONOR and a privilege. 🖤🖤🖤

Thank you to EVERYONE that has packed our house, supported and made ART, DANCE, MUSIC, and created the foundation for what will be our best Art Sanctuary incarnation yet! Stay tuned for our next adventure’s announcements coming SOON! 🖤🖤🖤
