Dear friends and family of Luminary,

I'm writing to address a rumor that has surfaced in recent weeks. As we approach the fifth anniversary of our founding, this group has come a long way in just six months. Over the past few years, my team has put in a lot of effort to gradually realize this dream of mine. In collaboration with our non-profit network, we have achieved our annual objectives of reaching an increasing number of individuals, particularly young people. I'm writing to affirm with pride that, indeed, we have a physical location that we can name home. The luminous team would love to make a big announcement about this new development, but as we all know, as an arts organization, we must be extremely creative in how we do it. For our official announcement, please stay tuned.

I already know that everyone is eager to see our new spaces and all of the incredible things we have planned. Give us a little time to paint and dust. After that, we'll have you over for an inviting evening.. However, there are a few things you can assist us with: Tell the young people that their stories, experiences, and creative passions are important by sharing our events, making a donation, and sending us encouragement.

Join us in celebrating LGBTQIA+ students during our Lavender Graduation Ceremony. Graduates will have their chosen names read and cross the stage to receive rainbow (or lavender) honor cords to celebrate both their academic accomplishments AND their identity, marking a milestone of achievement, resilience, and pride.

Our graduation isn't just for high school & college students. We invite anyone who is completing, or has completed a degree or training program to attend and be honored!
