Happily Ever After 💜💍 Rachel & Sean Dancy were married on December 7, 2023.

The couple became pregnant just a few weeks after their honeymoon in Florida and can't wait to welcome their first child in mid-September! Already, they feel that the Lord has brought abundance to their marriage, and their love for one another is growing even more deeply, knowing that they will be adding a baby to their family. The couple shared that they honored the Lord in their engagement by waiting for marriage and fully trusted His plan for the timing of children.

Rachel is the Youth Worship Director at their church, and Sean has started an internship there this Summer. Together, they serve the students of Rise Church each week.

Rachel advises current brides to plan the small details ahead of time and divide tasks. She says, "Go ahead and decide now that no matter what happens on your wedding day, choose joy!" She continues to remind brides to focus on what's important: your future spouse and God, and then laugh about the rest later.

Rachel and Sean express excitement about where the Lord will take their family in the coming years. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. Dancy, for sharing a glimpse into your beautiful life. 🙏🏽💜

When was the last time you truly rested in God? 🤍 "Resting in God" can refer to a spiritual rest from difficult things like stress and worry, but it can also mean practicing a mindset of trusting God that leads to a deep sense of peace.

Billy Graham said that resting in God is not "doing nothing." But by resting in God, we trust Him, surrender to His way in our lives, are confident that He is in control, and patiently wait on Him.

Happily Ever After 💍💜 Erin and Jordan Rose, are celebrating their 2 year anniversary today! 🎉

The Roses reflect on their wedding day as "Nostalgic, the best day of our lives!" Erin advises current brides not to plan her wedding day for anyone but yourself. She says, "I feel like there is a lot of pressure these days to have big elaborate weddings to impress people, but it is you and your spouses day!" The Roses would like to shout out Amara Images Photography and Ethan Britt Films - Raleigh Wedding Videography for their wonderful work.

Today, Erin and Jordan are living happily in Middlesex, NC. They Honeymooned in Jamaica, and while they were there, their first pet, Sammy, a golden retriever, was born. He's their fur baby! 🐕 The Roses recently became members of Raleigh Road Baptist Church in Wilson, NC, and had the opportunity to return to the barn to attend a friend's wedding. The couple is currently in the process of trying to start a family. 💜

There's a handful of silos on First Fruits Farm. If you've visited before, you likely noticed them. But did you know farmers traditionally use them for bulk storage of grain and food products? 🌾 But here, we love that our silos frequently get used as:

💍A background for an outdoor ceremony
😍Scenery for guests as they arrive and walk to the barn
📷A background for bridal and wedding portraits

Both practical and, in our opinion, quite beautiful, we have an appreciation for the silos on our farm.

➡️ Our dates are reserved on a first-requested basis. The first to request to start the contract process for a specific date will be first in line. A signed contract and Date Reservation Payment are required to book a date. After that, you're all set and can continue with the remainder of your wedding planning!

Southern Summer brides, we see you! 😍☀️🌡 As with any season, there are a few obstacles to overcome with a summer wedding. No worries, with a little planning and proper preparation, your wedding can be perfect... no matter the temperature! ☀️Say yes to a lightweight dress. While nothing should stand in the way of your dream dress, consider finding a gown that is made of breathable material. Just mention this to your bridal stylist when you go shopping, she’s sure to have recommendations! Let's face it, when you’re comfortable, you’re happier. And that’s what your wedding day is all about! ☀️Pick a summer friendly hairdo. For you and your girls, it’s best to choose a hairdo that will keep the hair off your neck and shoulders. This saves you from having to deal with sweaty hair sticking to your skin while you’re trying to pose for pictures or enjoy your first dance. It’s one less place for you to look “sweaty” in your final photos. ☀️Pack blotting papers and powder. It doesn’t matter how strong your makeup setting spray is. You may still find yourself looking shiny or oily at some point during your Summer wedding. To prevent these issues from getting out of hand, ask your MOH to pack some blotting papers or translucent powder in her makeup bag for you. This makes it easy for you to get rid of shininess and stay fresh-faced throughout the entire wedding.

But behind all that, we are a family of 10 who was called to leave the 🏈NFL, 🚜start a farm to feed the hungry, and 💜sow seeds of love in our community. Behind the scenes, it's a lot of early mornings, late evenings, labor intensive harvesting crops, riding tractors, feeding animals, and a whole lot more. In April 2012, our family stepped out in faith as we walked away from the NFL. 🏈 God had revealed that He had something bigger in store for our family ➡️ moving back to North Carolina to start a farm. 🚜🐄🐖🐓 We made a covenant with God that His people would receive the first fruits of whatever was produced from the land. 🥕🥔 Later, we added the wedding venue piece of what we do in order to help support the food donation ministry. OUR LOVE STORY

Welcome to Amazing Graze Barn! Love is the foundation of our relationship and everything we do. It changes how we interact with each other and those around us. It deepens our awareness of others and enables us to accomplish some pretty awesome things. Our love story began in college and since then is has multiplied to include 8 children and a 1000 acre farm we affectionately call First Fruits Farm. ‘Love your neighbor’ is the standard we strive to live by. And although we are nowhere near perfect, we aim to build relationships with those in our community: to give, to love and to grow.

The Amazing Graze Barn began as we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary by renewing our wedding vows on the front porch of our farmhouse and hosting our reception at the barn. But we couldn’t let it just end with us. First Fruits Farm is too wonderful a space and Amazing Graze Barn is too unique a venue to just keep to ourselves. Besides, everyone knows Love is best shared! We have since renovated our authentic dairy barn to allow others the opportunity to celebrate their love story where ours left off. And we hope to continue to have love spread on our farm and in our barn for years to come. We’re are a wedding venue that shares our hearts first! Amazing Graze Barn partners with First Fruits Farm to financially support its food donation ministry and other community programs held at the farm.
