Want to talk about a workhorse? Yarrow is your girl.

She laughs at the heat, keeps pumping out blooms, fills bouquets like a champ, and somehow looks good whether she’s the star of the show or just playing support. Plus, these soft pinks and creams? 😍

Not every flower can be pretty and pull its weight, but yarrow understood the assignment.

This part of flower farming is called "lowering expectations."

Were all the beds prepped? No.
Was everything perfectly planned? Also no.
Did some seeds make it into the ground? YES. 🤣🌱

We'll count that as a win.

The perfect plug. 🌱

Ranunculus and pansies are officially in the ground today and we’re already dreaming about what’s coming.

Can’t. Wait. For. Flowers.

Winter sowing will forever have my heart ❄️🌱

There’s just something about planting seeds in the middle of winter and trusting the process. Letting nature do her thing. Watching tiny seedlings push through when they’re ready. It never gets old.

And strawflowers… oh my goodness. One of my all-time favorites. I love them fresh in the garden, I love them in bouquets, and I really love them dried. Long-lasting, colorful, and basically magic in flower form.

If you’ve never winter sown strawflowers, consider this your sign. They’re tough, beautiful, and totally worth the wait.

Side note…these all recieve clear containers as lids. They have their own tiny greenhouses 🌱
