What started as a holiday tradition with our dolls and moms in 2006 has become an annual holiday event in San Francisco. ❄️
In 2006 we attended our very first holiday tea in San Francisco. At the time, our dolls were our world. They came to every dance practice, to every playdate and birthday party! There was no way our dolls would be missing out on our first holiday tea! We dressed up our dollies in their party dresses and packed up our mini tea sets and tea cakes (which we had made out of sponges and glitter during our last playdate). We loaded up the car with our doll strollers, 8 dolls, 3 girls, and 2 moms and made our way to the city. Little did we know this would be the start of a holiday tradtion.
As we got older and started to put our dollies away, the tradition continued and before we knew it we were the ones driving to the city (with our moms of course)!
Our holiday tea was more than just a holiday activity for us - it was dedicated time with eachother to laugh and giggle, belt christmas music, soak up the festive spirit of the season, and experience the magic of San Francisco. In 2021 we teamed up with the to create our dream Holiday Tea Party - The Dollie & Me Holiday Tea! Our tea would be designed for kids to bring their doll or stuffed animal, would feature a festive fancy menu (that was both kid and adult friendly😉), include a doll crafting portion to keep the kids engaged and excited and of course - a mini tea cup for your dollie to enjoy tea, too! 🫖
The Dollie & Me Holiday Tea turns 5 this December and has truly become a holiday tradition for so many! We are so grateful to the Westin St. Francis for believing in our idea and all of our guests who’ve joined us over the years!
Our own holiday tradition looks a little different now - but we couldn’t be happier! We love sharing our tradition and the magic of the holidays with you all!
