Hellloooo fall season! Some of my favorites from the market today - radishes, scarlet beans, fresh pistachios that were harvested yesterday (they’re only harvested one week every year!), plum, pear, dates, spinach, mushrooms, acorn & butternut squash, crazy delicious sun dried raisins, shiitake mushrooms, and pomegranate! I also got some salmon & turkey wings! Seasonal food makes me so excited to get in the kitchen ✌🏻

I know I “made the right choice” owning this food truck. Food truck life changed my whole life. It’s been a crazy journey that we are sorry to let all of our freaking incredible customers know is coming to a sudden end. There is not one why..... when I launched my food truck, I only cooked for Ludacris as a personal chef client. I never really planned to grow that avenue, but it happened organically and I am so thankful. I think when I’m 90 years old, the food truck memories will be the ones I think of most fondly. Whether it was our engine blowing up on the 405 freeway, taking a bad turn and a 25lb container of tzatziki flying out of the fridge and showering the truck and us before a wedding, the grill having a grease fire in the Malibu mountains, coming to the truck in the morning after a huge festival to see that it has not been cleaned and rolling up our sleeves to clean it, driving 4 hours away to cater a travel summit and camping with my employees next to the truck, catering electronic music festivals where people were so fu**ed up they came up to the food truck and said, “I am here for my eyebrow appointment”, I could write an entire book. The memories are amazing. I made the right choice. I have no regrets, but it’s also time to move on! Wholesam will still be a company and we will still do private cheffing and catering. Tomorrow will be our last day on the streets and we will be serving lunch at 2700 Pennsylvania Santa Monica from 11:30am-2:30pm
