First a brief explanation: This event is brought to you by the entire Charivari Detroit family and the Spin Inc. team. Also the personal efforts and time of over 100 incredible DJs, a legion of videographers, sponsor and media partners, editors, graphic artists, educators, content creators, venue owners, sound and lighting crew and worldwide supporters. There is no fancy production budget. This is a grassroots effort at its finest and the result is incredible!

Charivari Detroit and DEMC is a celebration of the City of Detroit and it’s contributions to electronic dance music. Techno is a Detroit creation and Detroit is flush with the pioneers and present day masters of the genre as well many of the most talented and respected DJ/producers of House music. The Charivari Detroit Music Festival and DEMC intend to spread that gospel across the world thru the festival stream and branded gear. Charivari Detroit Music Festival continues to be the greatest assembly of Detroit based DJ talent ever!

We would like to publically thank everyone who answered the call. Now, more than ever we need to act as a community. A strong family in the music. FREE and open to all who want to join the party. No strings. No contracts. No judgment. No bul*sh%!. Just the music!

At Charivari Detroit, FAM is bond. The bond and growth of the community through support and engagement. Fam from Detroit and worldwide. Everyone is welcome! Above faction, friction, fame and fad. The people. The music. The dancing. The DJs. The crowd. The culture. Not new to the game. True to the game. You either know or you don’t.
