We are delighted to invite you to "Fun in the Sun Fencing in the San" in Sunny California. For five days, fencers will have the opportunity to train in an intense environment with coaches that have had success in the Olympics as an athlete, as well as coaches who have been successful as coaches in the youth, cadet, junior, senior and Olympic level. Our December camps are led by Beijing Olympics bronze medalist Maestro Diego Confalonieri and University of San Diego Head Coach Juan Ignacio Calderon. Having students who had recently won World Championship titles, Coach Confalonieri brings international FIE competition coaching experience exclusively to our camp attendees. Our February camp will be led by the 2018 Italian National Champion Marco Fichera together with his teammate who won silver in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games Andrea Santarelli and Marco Fichera- who is also the 2018 Italian National Champion. You will be instructed on how to improve your technical, tactical, and mental ability on the fencing strip. Along with our host clubs, The San Diego Fencing Center and The Fencing Center in San Jose, we have created a genuinely Elite experience that is modeled after the Italian and European style of fencing competition preparation.
