for those who are new here—hi, i’m waverly.

i’m an award-winning wedding and event planner, corporate event producer, and contributor to the la times weddings & celebrations section. i planned my first event at six years old, when i helped my mom host a dinner party for a few of her friends. she unknowingly set me on this path—and inspired me to start my own business.

i love to travel, i take my sushi very seriously (tattoo included), and my favorite movie is coming to america. in hindsight, i probably should’ve known i’d become a wedding planner—at least three of my favorite films end in a wedding or a grand romantic gesture.

these days, i create intentional, well-executed experiences at the intersection of strategy, design, and meaningful celebration—while balancing life as a mom of two.

When hired me, they made one thing crystal clear from the very beginning: guest experience mattered most. They wanted their friends and family to not only witness their love, but to feel it through every touchpoint of the day.

One of my favorite details was weaving their love of New York into the celebration. After the ceremony, we chartered .sightseeing bus to take guests on a little city adventure, letting them see the places that mean the most to K & T before dropping them off at cocktail hour. It was such a fun, thoughtful way to bring their story to life and give their guests a moment they’d never forget.

Thank you to every single vendor who brought the magic: from the cotton candy and games to the tiniest details that made the day feel like a dream. I’m forever grateful for your talent and care.

And to everyone who came to celebrate our boys—thank you. Seeing so many of our friends, chosen family, and at least six of my former brides-turned-friends-turned-aunties to my kids… that’s real love.
