It was truly an honor to be featured on KTLA Channel 5 News.
The story beautifully captured my journey — from my childhood to becoming a designer — in a way that felt both personal and meaningful.

I was especially touched by reporter Eugene Kang, who shared reflections on his own family’s immigrant story alongside mine. Hearing those connections brought back many memories of my mother and reminded me how deeply our family histories shape who we are.

I hope that many within the Asian Pacific and immigrant communities, especially those who carry similar family stories and sacrifices, will find comfort, connection, and inspiration in watching this story.
