Head to City of Rancho Palos Verdes – Government for Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 11 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Ken Dyda Civic Center.

Enjoy decorated car trunks for trick-or-treating, a puppet show, inflatables, face painting, games, giveaways, and a costume parade.
Food available to purchase from Surfer Taco Truck, Bison Burger! 🥙🍔

Heads up for dog lovers 🐶
If you’re looking for something fun this Saturday, Barks & Boos is happening at the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden from 11 AM to 4 PM. You can bring your furry friend, check out adoptable pups, a dog costume contest, and stroll the garden with a festive crowd.

Our food truck friends The Surfer Taco Truck, Arenita Gourmet, Victory Shawarma, Lolo's Sweet Ice will be there too, so if you build up an appetite while wandering around, you’ll be covered. Doggy treats available from Mobile Barkery!

Ready for our Howl-o-ween celebration for you and your canine buddies? Join us Saturday, October 4 from 11am to 4pm at the LAArboretum for a day of happy dogs and craft beers.

Meet adoptable dogs from at the mobile adoption truck, purchase delicious bites from food trucks, enjoy beer from Mt. Lowe Brewing Company, and visit info tables. Dogs with an adventurous streak can try their paw at an agility course.

Dress yourself and your pup in your best Halloween attire! A dog costume contest will take place at 2:30pm. Humans are encouraged to coordinate their own costumes with their dogs!

There's a $10 dog fee for all canine attendees. Non-members must purchase admission for all humans.

Our popular Arboretum Summer Night Concerts are back! We kick off the series this Friday, August 1, featuring Man Boy Brown and his Latin/rock alternative vibe.

Man Boy Brown is the musical alter ego of Raul Pacheco, a founding member and songwriter of Los Angeles’ legendary Latino American dance band Ozomatli. Man Boy Brown’s initial release on Blue Elan Records reimagines classic American song forms of the early 1970’s and pays homage to the records of his Chicano parents and older sisters.

Join us from 5-8pm for an evening of picnicking, crafts, lawn games, the Peacock Bar and a marketplace. Music begins at 6pm.

Included in paid admission. Tickets available online. Arboretum members are free.
