💓 TATA TO THE TATAS! 💓

This weekend, we gathered at our house for a very important farewell: saying goodbye to some ti***es! 🥳🫡

In honor of my sibling-in-law’s upcoming gender-affirming top surgery, we hosted an evening with their wonderful friends full of 2000s and b**b-themed trivia, games, arts & crafts, questionable amounts of b**b puns, and, of course, b**b-themed cupcakes. 🧁👀

It was silly, joyful, a little ridiculous, and exactly the kind of celebration this moment deserved. 💕 There’s something pretty special about getting to surround yourself with people who show up wholeheartedly to celebrate you exactly as you are.

We are so grateful to be surrounded by such a wonderful, loving, and identity-affirming community. Here’s to new beginnings, feeling at home in your body, and giving those tatas the send-off they deserve!

Tata, tatas. You had a good run. 🫡

Still thinking about what an AMAZING Sunday it was at the Pokémon World Championships last week! ⚡️🎮

We could only make it to one day of Pokémon Worlds, but it was a GREAT day to be a Pokémon fan! 💛 We spent the day exploring the show floor, doing plenty of shopping (because obviously 😅), checking out all the Pokémon goodness, and, of course, watching the championship finals! 🏆⚡️

It was such a fun experience getting to see the excitement, community, competition, and sheer Pokémon fandom all in one place. And this is just a little preview… I have plenty more to share from our San Francisco weekend! 👀

Nerd Knight celebrated the opening of their brand-new Tavern area… and it might be the perfect setting for your next game night. 🎲🍺 They brought together an AMAZING crew of vendors, performers, and fellow nerds to enchant the evening, and we even got to dive into a little D&D adventure as part of the experience!

And if you’ve never actually visited The Witch’s Cottage before, you need to go ASAP. Their restaurant and café is SO DELICIOUS. 🤤 The whole space is packed with beautiful details, cozy corners, and so much charm that you’ll feel like you’ve stepped straight into a fantasy realm.

S&L’s wedding was intimate, elegant, and just the right amount of fun! 🥂💃

S&L celebrated their wedding with a beautiful dinner and dancing reception at The Culver Hotel, bringing their closest people together for a night that felt both effortlessly gorgeous and completely them.

The celebration featured a light French theme, adding romantic, timeless touches to the already stunning setting. 🇫🇷 Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner and cocktails in the gorgeous Crystal Dining Room, with disposable cameras on hand to capture all the candid moments, laughs, and memories throughout the evening. 📸

Then the party moved upstairs to the Velvet Lounge for dancing, desserts, and even more celebrating in one seriously cool space! 🍰🪩 From the elegant dinner to the lively after-party, every part of the evening was intimate but mighty, and full of personality.

A small but mighty vendor team brought this beautiful celebration together, and I was so thrilled to be part of it as their coordinator. 💕 Sometimes you don’t need a huge wedding to create a truly unforgettable celebration!

Some weddings change you, and this was one of them 🤍

In February, I had the absolute honor of working with to help plan Brenda & Tony’s wedding. For those who may not know, this incredible nonprofit organization grants weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness or life-altering health circumstances… and being part of that mission is something I will never take for granted.

This one hit especially close to home. When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, my own wedding became something deeply meaningful for our family - a moment of love, joy, and togetherness in the middle of uncertainty. So to help create that same kind of moment for another family… it meant everything.

Brenda & Tony’s story is one of love, resilience, and music. They met as teens in LA, bonded over their shared love of music, and even started a band together. Over time, friendship turned into something more, and after welcoming their son, they got engaged, ready to start their next chapter.

But life had other plans. During what should have been an exciting season of wedding planning, Tony began experiencing severe headaches. He was later diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

That’s when Wish Upon a Wedding stepped in - to bring light, love, and a moment of celebration in the middle of something incredibly heavy.

Brenda & Tony: you are one of the strongest, most inspiring couples I’ve ever met. It was truly an honor to stand alongside you and help bring your wedding day to life.

And to the VENDOR DREAM TEAM—there are no words big enough for the gratitude I feel. Every single person showed up with so much heart, generosity, and care. This day was only possible because of you, your donations & services, and your kindness 🤍

My first time ever experiencing EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival and I totally get the hype now 🌸🌿

The topiaries are absolutely stunning (seriously, the artistry and detail are incredible), there’s SO much to explore throughout World Showcase and Future World, and the FOOD? Next level. Every booth felt like a new little adventure and honestly, I don’t think I had a single thing I didn’t love 😂🍓🌮🌼

We spent the day just wandering, snacking, taking in all the flowers and topiaries, and soaking up the atmosphere - and it truly felt like one of the most beautiful and relaxing Disney festival experiences I’ve had. I can already tell this is going to become one of my favorite times of year at EPCOT 💐

Today marks one year since my mom passed away after her long battle with cancer.

As many of you know, she is a huge part of why I started this business in the first place. When she was first diagnosed, she told me the two things she wanted most were to attend my wedding and go on one big family trip together. Watching the hope those experiences gave her changed something in me forever. I saw firsthand how powerful celebration, travel, togetherness, and meaningful moments can be, especially during the hardest seasons of life.

I got married a year after her diagnosis. And one week after that big family trip together, she passed away.

My mom spent her entire life putting other people first. She was the kind of mom who did everything for her kids - a stay-at-home mom for years, the PTA mom, the holiday magic-maker, the one who always showed up. She loved adventures and dreamed of traveling more, but like so many people, she kept saying:

“I’ll do it later.”
“I’ll do it when things calm down.”
“I’ll do it when I retire.”

And then life had other plans.

That experience fundamentally shaped not only who I am as a person, but the heart behind this business. It’s why I care so deeply about helping people celebrate now. Take the trip now. Gather your family now. Have the wedding you dream about now. Stop waiting for the “perfect” time to live your life.

Because tomorrow is never guaranteed.

Fantastical Adventures exists because my mom showed me how important joy, memories, and togetherness truly are. Her love for family and creating magic lives in everything I do.

I miss you every day, Mom. Thank you for inspiring this life, this business, and the way I choose to love people. 🤍
