Giving thanks today and everyday. Hope you’re all enjoying time with your families. A reminder that Giving Tuesday is this coming Tuesday and many families affected by the fires are still in need of help. Consider donating to: (located in Chico and working particularly with the community of Paradise) and/or (helping to respond to the fires, as well as recovery from the recent shooting in Thousand Oaks).

This past weekend has been devastating for so many communities. There are no words that can be enough to move us past the heartbreak so many have felt and are still feeling as our friends, families, venues, and friendors grapple with the effects of these fires. It has also been a time of amazing response. We’ve witnessed every type of support for those enduring hardships and challenges, from those who have lost homes, to firefighters still responding, to those who have had to relocate their weddings. Couples have shown real compassion within the context of all of this. Our industry has come together to lift up one another and we’ve had some make-it-work moments. As we move through this week, we’re excited to see the community of vendors come together to make Liz and Casey’s Wedding Day happen. Weddings are about community.
