21 years ago I spent a year with the CIA and Army Remote Viewers (Psychic Spies) to tell the story of the psychic arms race during the Cold War. During this research I ended up going to The Monroe Institute for a week and had some profound experiences. Tomorrow night, Friday at I will be sharing some insights from those experiences and sharing restored original interviews from Robert Monroe and Skip Atwater (former head of Army Remote Viewing program and then head of the Monroe Institute explaining the processes. The talk will be in connection with to celebrate new film . I try to share what I can about using sound waves to pop out of your body. 7pm at PRS in los feliz

11 years ago I married by best friend, the the smartest person I know, a profound hierophant and punk rock queen. I never thought I’d find a partner like her and I certainly couldn’t never in a million years imagine someone who could help me grow, laugh, challenge, and ground me. She is truly my better half. All of our friends know that miracle that is and the kindness wisdom and grace that she flows. I love her and am in awe of her more and more every day. I am so grateful to share this life with her by my side. She’s the perfect partner from black tie galas to the robot restaurant in Tokyo. She is the best person to go once adventures with. Happy anniversary! Thanks to all of our amazing friends for supporting us and helping us find our path over the years. You are all everything to us, our chosen family.

documentary is out on Netflix today. Directed by the brilliant edited by and produced by and me. It’s been such a remarkable journey getting this film together and out into the world. From the night Mark agreed to score Tiger King and Chris agreed to direct the Devo doc to Sundance, to film fests around the world finally to its home on Netflix. Devo is your favorite band’s favorite band. This movie shows you why. Every viewing has increased my love for the music and art of Devo and made me appreciate the profound impact they’ve had on our culture and my life. As much as any band or artist they have not only framed modern experience but also showed how to rebel against the mind numbing grind of modernity with absurdity and razor sharp wit. It properly frames Devo in the context as a modern American art collective and shows their immense impact on modern culture through subversion, humor and pure genius. Starting from the early days at Kent State through their careers.

Today is the last day for a place so special in my heart . Mark and Martin are family and created such a magical community. They are moving the store out to Palm Springs (the new east side). I was so glad to get to stop by yesterday and bask in to their awesomeness. Thank you for all that you have brought into my life and the support and love you’ve shared with and I. Thanks to and their amazing team for putting together the Devo documentary screening. It’s playing again tonight and then will premiere on Netflix Aug 19th. Cant wait for the world to see the wonderful film directed. Also some of the best doc editing by .
