Gerard Groove is a Sri Lanka-born DJ and producer who has made his mark in Los Angeles, California. Developing a passion for music at a young age, Gerard has a deep appreciation for all genres, but his journey into the house music scene was shaped by major influences like Tiesto, Mark Knight, Carl Cox, DJ Sneak, DJ Fronter, Josh Wink, and Umek to name a few. Specializing in House Music, and more specifically Tech House, Gerard began his career hosting and DJing after-hours events in Hollywood, eventually launching his own party, High Decibel 1645 Afterhours. Over the years, he has shared the stage with house music luminaries such as Felix Da Housecat, Antonio Pica, and DJ Fronter, performing at some of Southern California’s most iconic venues. Gerard has held monthly residencies at the W Hotel Hollywood, Club Avalon, Exchange, and Academy in Los Angeles. He is also the founder of the bi-monthly party Valley House Call in his hometown of the San Fernando Valley, and serves as managing partner and roster artist for the tech house label Tech Avenue Records. Driven by positive energy and a love for his craft, Gerard Groove strives to create memorable musical experiences while continually pushing himself to reach new heights in the world of house music.
