Invitation Maven "Maven" means "expert" in Yiddish. I've been designing invitations for more than 20 years. I create Hi! I’ve been designing invitations for more than 20 years.

My name is Marlene Widawer, but I’m also known as the “Invitation Maven.” Maven means “expert” in Yiddish. I just love designing custom invitations because they are what get the party started. I also love working with people, and my passion is to make all my clients’ dreams come true. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into a passion that I wanted to share with others. I have expanded my design capabilities and work with a variety of design platforms and products, and I love to create that one-of-a-kind invitation that reflects my client’s unique style and personality. Whether I’m designing a bar or bat mitzvah invitation, a wedding or bridal shower invitation, a baby announcement, or a birthday party invitation, my goal is to merge my clients’ personal style with the party theme to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all. All my work is custom, and I use the highest quality materials and latest design trends to not only create an invitation to an event, but to also create a work of art. I encourage you to look at my samples and to join my email list to keep informed about my current design projects. Get to know me, and I’m sure you’ll learn about my attention to detail and my passion for my work.

⁣These handsome kippot were made to coordinate with Lior’s Bar Mitzvah invitation, with a custom embroidered logo designed by Invitation Maven. I love when elements from the invitation carry through to the celebration and tie everything together.⁣

⁣⁣
⁣Bright yellow stripes, playful details, and a fresh Riviera-inspired palette set the tone for Maya’s Bat Mitzvah.⁣
⁣⁣
⁣Invitation Maven created the custom logo and original artwork that became the visual thread throughout the celebration, beginning with the invitation and carrying through to the signage, bar graphics, custom carts, dessert displays, photo backdrop, and other details throughout the event.⁣
⁣⁣
⁣One of my favorite parts of designing an event is seeing artwork that begins on my computer screen take on an entirely new life once an incredible team of vendors gets their hands on it. From the bold striped installations and custom furniture to the spectacular florals and smallest finishing details, this team brought the vision to life beautifully.⁣

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣Over the years, I’ve had many clients ask for an elegant online invitation that feels just as sophisticated as a printed suite. That’s exactly why I partnered with Greenvelope.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣I’m proud to be a Greenvelope 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 and, even more exciting, currently one of only four 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 featured on their platform. That means I’ve completed Greenvelope’s training, know the platform inside and out, and have been recognized for providing exceptional service to clients using it. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣But here’s what that really means for you…⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣You don’t have to figure it out on your own.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣I can design a custom invitation that reflects your event, set up your Greenvelope account, import your guest list, manage RSVPs, schedule reminders, and troubleshoot the details along the way. You get all the convenience of digital invitations without sacrificing style—or spending hours learning a new platform.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣Whether your event is entirely digital or you’re pairing Greenvelope with printed invitations, I’m here to make the process seamless from start to finish.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣If you’ve been thinking about digital invitations, let’s talk. They can be every bit as beautiful as the event they’re announcing.⁣⁣
