"Maven" means "expert" in Yiddish. I've been designing invitations for more than 20 years. I create Hi! I’ve been designing invitations for more than 20 years.

My name is Marlene Widawer, but I’m also known as the “Invitation Maven.” Maven means “expert” in Yiddish. I just love designing custom invitations because they are what get the party started. I also love working with people, and my passion is to make all my clients’ dreams come true. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into a passion that I wanted to share with others. I have expanded my d

esign capabilities and work with a variety of design platforms and products, and I love to create that one-of-a-kind invitation that reflects my client’s unique style and personality. Whether I’m designing a bar or bat mitzvah invitation, a wedding or bridal shower invitation, a baby announcement, or a birthday party invitation, my goal is to merge my clients’ personal style with the party theme to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all. ⁣Why settle for ordinary table numbers when they can be part of the story? For this Alice in Wonderland celebration, we designed custom book covers that pulled double duty:⁣
⁣⁣
⁣The front cover featured our whimsical Alice logo with the table number cleverly woven into the design, perfectly framed by florals that matched the centerpieces.⁣
⁣⁣
⁣The back cover held two QR codes—one for guests to easily upload their photos and videos, and another linking to a digital bencher for blessings after the meal.⁣
⁣⁣
⁣A little creativity turned practical signage into a memory-worthy detail that was as functional as it was beautiful., not to mention perfectly on theme.

⁣For my granddaughter’s 6th birthday party this weekend, we threw a princess makeover party fit for royalty—but kept it sweet and simple. Just 10 girls, 2 hours, and a whole lot of sparkle.⁣

⁣Activities? Hair braiding, face painting, painting wood birdhouses, and making homemade ice cream (because princesses deserve dessert they help create).⁣
