Over the last 18 years it’s been a journey of fighting & searching for answers.
Luckily Walsh Lab at gave us hope. Emmie is now 18 and Graduated! 😭😭 PROUD mamma over here. ✨✨✨✨
Her school journey hasn’t been easy. I took out a full page ad attached in her yearbook to hopefully wake people up and make them think about others! (Second slide***read)
is NOT easy on our neurodivergent kids. Uphill battle & Lawyers are required to get basic needs met. Which is sad.
She didn’t go to school prom & name was missed during awards ceremonies… but we found alternatives (and mama got up there and made them call her name. 🐻 ).
This cap and gown photo is a symbol of her resilience!! Huge milestone. Overcoming many obstacles.

For those of you that said hi and included her….. THANK YOU! That’s all it takes to make a world of difference to a neurodivergent kiddo. id love to see inclusion at the school. Let the neuro kids join cheerleading, join a club, start a big brother /sister program to teach the other students some compassion.
