There was a time when The Candy Coach didn’t look like The Candy Coach at all. 🍭✨

No candy-filled shelves.
No pretty jars.
No events.
No guests stepping inside with that OMG look on their faces.

Just an old bus and a very clear vision of what she could become.

Looking back at these photos is a reminder of just how much went into bringing that vision to life.

The construction.
The dust.
The decisions.
The details.
And a whole lot of trusting the process before there was anything beautiful to show for it.

There wasn’t a blue print or road map to follow. She was the first of her kind. Little by little, she started to become the candy shop on wheels I had imagined.

And eventually… she became The Candy Coach. 🚌🍫🍭🍬

Now she’s been part of weddings, mitzvahs, birthdays, corporate events and celebrations all over Southern California.

Apparently there’s a right answer… and then there’s the gumball answer. But seriously, gumballs are so popular!! With kids and an adults alike. It’s never my first choice for candy personally, but I love seeing how excited people get over them…. And the color they get!! 😂🍬

POV, you just stepped onto The Candy Coach and suddenly your candy decision feels more important.

If I was building my perfect candy mix on The Candy Coach, my top four picks would be… Classic Haribo Gummy Bears, Twin Cherries, Sour Cola and Tootsie Rolls. The sweet spot between nostalgic, sour chewy, and tart.

Honestly, choosing only four might be the hardest part of the experience. Now I need to know…

Events this cool don’t happen by accident. Behind the greater vision and every perfectly styled detail is a planner/stylist/producer. I feel lucky to have built relationships with incredible event professionals who trust me with their clients and continue to bring me along for these unforgettable celebrations. Leesa of always creates the most inviting and truly entertaining events… With a theme point!!

There’s something incredibly special about being invited back year after year to celebrate with the same clients. Watching families grow, traditions evolve, and milestones unfold while The Candy Coach gets to be a small part of the magic never stops feeling meaningful to me.

To everyone who’s been here since the sanding, staining, dreaming, and “how are we going to pull this off?” days… Hello! Thanks for following along.

And to everyone new here, Hello! Welcome to The Candy Coach, a one of a kind candy shop on wheels built with a lot of love, up hill battles, and definitely way too much sugar.

I’m Lisa, the owner, operator, candy hauler, jar filler, driver, cleaner, creative director, and the person usually making things move behind the scenes. In this reel… That’s some of my fun stuff that attends your events and helps serve up sweet treats.

What started as little idea and a passion to be self employed has turned into us a part of weddings, birthdays, mitzvahs, brand activations, corporate events, and so many once in a lifetime memories for our clients. Truly something I never take for granted.
