If I was building my perfect candy mix on The Candy Coach, my top four picks would be… Classic Haribo Gummy Bears, Twin Cherries, Sour Cola and Tootsie Rolls. The sweet spot between nostalgic, sour chewy, and tart.

Events this cool don’t happen by accident. Behind the greater vision and every perfectly styled detail is a planner/stylist/producer. I feel lucky to have built relationships with incredible event professionals who trust me with their clients and continue to bring me along for these unforgettable celebrations. To everyone who’s been here since the sanding, staining, dreaming, and “how are we going to pull this off?” days… Hello! Thanks for following along.

And to everyone new here, Hello! Welcome to The Candy Coach, a one of a kind candy shop on wheels built with a lot of love, up hill battles, and definitely way too much sugar.

I’m Lisa, the owner, operator, candy hauler, jar filler, driver, cleaner, creative director, and the person usually making things move behind the scenes. In this reel… That’s some of my fun stuff that attends your events and helps serve up sweet treats.

What started as little idea and a passion to be self employed has turned into us a part of weddings, birthdays, mitzvahs, brand activations, corporate events, and so many once in a lifetime memories for our clients. Truly something I never take for granted.

Whether you’ve followed for years or just found us today, I’m so happy you’re here. Thanks for being part of this sweet little corner of the internet 🍭✨

There was a time when The Candy Coach was just an idea, a dream, and a white trolley bus sitting for sale on the side of the road just a few miles way from my childhood home. (The only used white trolley bus I could find in the United States at the time.)

Now she gets to spend her days parked in the middle of some of the happiest moments people will ever experience.

Watching this reel go from the “before”, to seeing The Candy Coach glowing at an event honestly feels emotional to me. Because behind every magical setup is years of work, risk, late nights, heavy lifting, problem solving, and believing in something before anyone else could fully see it.

What I love most is that this little candy shop on wheels has somehow become part of so many love stories, milestones, celebrations, and core memories for our clients. And that is something I will never take lightly.

Thank you for letting The Candy Coach be part of your special days, here’s to hoping to be a part of many more.

Festival season, but make it sweet 🍭✨ Who else is missing it already!?!

Watching the fashion girlies build their candy mix at the Windsor pop-up felt like the perfect mix of nostalgia, late night festival energy, and main character chaos. Rhinestones, tiny bags, fringe, stacked accessories, and handfuls of candy… honestly the vibe was everything!!!

There’s a very specific kind of confidence that happens when I say, “I’m just going for a candy shop.” Suddenly I’m standing behind multiple carts of candy… playing a real-life game of Tetris with way too many boxes and not enough space, loading them into my personal car… while my actual work van exists for this very reason. 🤷‍♀️🤭 Me. EVERY. Single. Time. But I make it work! 😅

Some days the content is polished, planned, and perfectly edited…and some days it’s this.

Running The Candy Coach means I’m sourcing candy, loading hundreds of pounds, preparing for events, breaking everything down, and doing it all over again, so yeah… sometimes posting takes a back seat. But I still try to show up, even if it’s not perfect.

Because behind every “pretty” setup is a very real, very busy small business owner trying to keep the literal wheels turning.
