The impact of like VR, AR, MR, and holograms on the environment is definitely a complex & nuanced question. These technologies hold huge potential to help reduce carbon emissions and help foster a more sustainable future in ways, but they also present challenges related to energy use and resource consumption. I have been independently researching, collecting data and information, working w AI & interviewing some of the members of our community around this area for a number of years and have prepared a PowerPoint presentation with the goal of sparking new discussions & assisting in the collective to understand how our technological advancements are affecting our planet earth - pros and cons.
